Flag hoisting at sunrise, national songs by the junior choir and a tableau that brought the story of 1947 to life.
Silverpine celebrated Pakistan's 79th Independence Day with pride and joy. The day began with flag hoisting on the main quadrangle at 8:30 am, followed by the national anthem sung by more than 250 students and staff.
A morning to remember
The junior school choir performed "Dil Dil Pakistan" and "Sohni Dharti", while Grade 7 presented a moving tableau on the sacrifices of 1947. Grade 3 students, dressed in green and white, painted a 20-metre mural of Pakistan's landmarks that now brightens the main corridor.

The celebrations ended with a special assembly on the vision of Quaid-e-Azam. Pakistan Zindabad!
