This interactive guide works best with JavaScript turned on. Here is the text version (7 flows, 33 steps).
1. Dashboard KPIs & quick actions
- Your dashboard at a glance — Your Dashboard opens with today's date and session. Billboard shows the school board and Search finds any student, staff member or page (shortcut Ctrl K).
- Quick actions — One click to Admit student, Collect fee, Mark attendance, Send notice, Enquiries, Add expense, Reports and Settings.
- Live KPIs — Students, staff, attendance today, the next exam, homework completion, fee collection, outstanding fees, cash & bank, staff present, visitors, library, transport, hostel and low stock — every tile opens its module.
- Things that need you — Widgets below show pending leave requests (approve in one click), today's collections, admissions funnel, open complaints, exam performance and more.
2. School health report & at-risk students
- Open School health — Go to Reports → School health. Eight indicators are marked On track or Watch: enrolment, attendance, fee collection, overdue fees, exam average, staff present, open enquiries and complaints.
- Traffic-light indicators — Green means on track, amber means keep an eye on it — each card explains the number behind it.
- Trends and insights — Charts show weekly attendance, fees billed vs collected, enrolment and exam averages. Insights are written automatically, e.g. the weakest attendance day or the class with the lowest attendance.
- At-risk students — Students flagged by low attendance, falling marks or unpaid fees, with the parent's phone and a Call parent button. Click a name for the full 360° profile.
3. Approve staff leave
- Open Leave requests — Go to Human Resources → Leave requests (or use Approve in the dashboard widget). Pending requests are listed first.
- Check the request — Each row shows the staff member, leave type, reason, attachment, dates, working days and the balance left after approval — here Ayesha Siddiqui's request to attend a teacher-training workshop.
- Approve — Click Approve. You can add an optional comment for the staff member.
- Confirm the decision — Add a comment if you like and click Approve. The teacher is notified immediately and the leave appears on the staff attendance.
- Done — The request moves to Approved and the balance is updated.
4. Publish exam results
- Open Exams — Go to Examinations → Exams. Each exam card shows progress of marks entry; First Term 2026 has all marks entered but results are not published yet.
- Open the results — Click Results on the exam card.
- Review the draft — A banner confirms these are draft results visible only to staff. Pick a class to see the tabulation sheet with totals, percentages, grades and positions — marks below the pass mark are red.
- Tabulation sheet — Check the sheet, print it or export it. Report cards and admit cards are generated from the same page.
- Publish results — Click Publish results.
- Confirm — Confirm the dialog. Every student and parent is notified by app, SMS and email, and report cards become available in the portal.
- Results are live — The confirmation shows how many students and parents were notified. Unpublish hides them again if a correction is needed.
5. Send a notice to parents
- Start a notice — Click Send notice in Quick actions (menu: Notice Board → New notice).
- Write the notice — Give it a clear title and the full announcement. Attach a PDF circular if you have one.
- Choose the audience — Pick who should see it: everyone, all staff, teachers, students, parents, or one class or section. Schedule it for later, pin it, or also show it on the public website.
- Pick the channels — Everyone in the audience gets an in-app notification. Switch on SMS and/or Email to reach parents who are not in the app.
- Publish — Click Publish notice.
- Sent — The notice is on the board and the confirmation shows how many people were notified. Read receipts show who has seen it.
6. Fee collection & defaulters
- Fees overview — Open Fees → Overview for this month's collection, outstanding balance and a billed-vs-collected chart.
- Outstanding by class — See which classes owe the most and jump to their defaulters.
- Defaulters — Open Defaulters for every student with overdue fees: months overdue, oldest due date, outstanding amount and the parent's phone with a WhatsApp link.
- Remind parents — Remind all (or tick rows and Send reminder) sends fee reminders by app, SMS and email.
7. The school billboard
- Open the school board — Open Billboard and choose School board. Posts here are seen by the whole school; you can also open any class board.
- Post to everyone — New post works like a class post — text, photo, link or poll — but reaches every class.
- TV screens — TV Screens turns any smart TV or monitor into a live display: add a screen, choose the board and open its private link on the TV browser.
